Bike lights have always been used for visibility when its dark, but there's never been a solution for when a cyclist is slowing down and braking. This smart LED light does just that. So even in daylight when the light is not in use, it detects a decrease in speed and instantly lights up as a brake light. This makes cycling so much safer - especially on the roads. We would always recommend using your light at all times for increased visibility.
Complete with motion sensors, the light will automatically turn off when it detects no motion for 30 seconds. As soon as the light detects motion again, the light will instantly come back to life. So if you stop for coffee and cake and forget to turn your light off, you can be rest assured that your battery isn't being drained while you refuel.
Using a large 400mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery, it is safe to say that this light will last more than 30 hours on a full charge while being used on the bike. We have tested the lights on manual mode flashing which have lasted more than 50 hours. This is an amazing amount of battery life from such a small, compact, bright LED light!
Whether you choose auto mode or manual mode, when the light is on you can choose from a solid light, pulsing light or flashing light by pressing the button on the front. The braking feature works with all settings as a safety feature.
Included in the box is a short Micro USB charging cable. Simply connect this to any USB plug and connect the Micro USB end to the light. When the light is charging the LEDs will light up.
When you need to charge your light, there's a handy little green light that becomes illuminated once the light has reached full charge.
Made from premium CNC machined aluminium, this compact LED light meets the IPX6 Waterproof Standard, meaning the light can be used in all weathers.
