When using this website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1 - General Terms and Conditions
We make every effort to ensure product information and imagery is accurate. However, some images and descriptions may be supplied by manufacturers or suppliers and are used for illustrative purposes only.
Vehicle images and vehicle references shown on this website are for guidance only and may not represent the exact style, fitment, finish or colour of the product supplied. You must verify fitment and suitability before ordering.
2 - Delivery, Inspection and Transit Damage (Same-Day Reporting)
Please inspect your delivery on the day it arrives. Due to the nature of the items we sell (large and bulky vehicle body parts), any damage caused in transit must be reported to us on the same day as delivery.
We appreciate some items are securely packaged and a courier driver may not wait while packaging is removed. However, you must check the outer packaging on delivery and inspect the product as soon as reasonably possible on the same day.
How to report transit damage (same day): Phone (0333 22 44 847), Email (sales@vehicle-spares.com), or Whatsapp (0333 22 44 847). Please include your order number and provide:
- Clear photos of the damage (close-up and wider angle)
- Photos of the full item
- Photos of the packaging
- Photos showing the courier labels clearly
Third party delivery / safe place: If you choose delivery to a third party address (e.g. garage/body shop), a safe place, or a neighbour, responsibility remains with you to ensure inspection and reporting is completed on the day of delivery.
Chain of custody: Once goods have been transported from the original delivery address, handled by third parties, or have been test fitted, modified, prepared or painted, we cannot accept claims for transit damage because we cannot verify when or how damage occurred.
Remedy for confirmed transit damage: Where transit damage is confirmed and reported within the courier timeframe, we reserve the right to offer a replacement at no extra cost. If a return/refund is agreed, carriage charges may not be refundable depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights.
3 - Delivery Timeframes
We aim to deliver orders as quickly as possible and, in most cases, next working day to UK mainland when ordered before 4pm. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, suppliers, third parties, adverse weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have.
4 - Online Quotes, Vehicle Data and Ordering
While we may provide fitment guidance, it remains your responsibility to ensure the correct item is ordered for your vehicle.
Where you provide a vehicle registration number or vehicle details, any fitment assistance is based on the information available at the time and may not account for modifications, trim-level differences, facelifts, special editions, or non-standard vehicles.
If you do not provide sufficient vehicle details, we may place your order on hold while we contact you to confirm information. Items such as sills and repair panels are not always checkable against a vehicle registration number.
Incorrect orders: If an incorrect item is ordered (including due to incomplete/incorrect details provided), we do not cover return carriage costs, preparation/paint costs, or labour costs.
Quotes: Quotes provided by LiveChat, email or phone are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.
Security checks: We reserve the right to refuse suspicious payments and to carry out additional security checks prior to dispatch (for example address verification and bank referral checks). Orders will only be dispatched once checks (if required) are satisfactorily completed.
5 - Aftermarket Parts: Quality, Tolerances and Test Fitting
Many products we sell are non-genuine manufacturer parts produced in the aftermarket sector. Aftermarket parts may have tolerances in fitment and finish compared with genuine OEM parts. Minor adjustments may be required during installation to achieve the desired fit.
Cosmetic imperfections can sometimes be present due to manufacturing processes. We recommend fitting is carried out by a specialist workshop experienced in fitting aftermarket parts.
All products must be test fitted before any preparation or painting. We do not accept returns for parts that have been prepared, painted, fitted, modified, or damaged after delivery.
6 - Repair Panels
Repair panels may have rough edges, appear unfinished, or show cosmetic tooling marks due to the manufacturing and intended use (e.g. welding/finishing). Cosmetic marks are not considered damage.
Claims for structural damage (for example, damage across a swage line) must be reported in accordance with the same-day reporting requirement for transit damage.
7 - Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Rights
Condition of returns: We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for any item that has been modified, used, fitted, damaged, prepped or painted. Please inspect and test fit items before any modification or paint work.
Consumer cancellation (cooling-off): If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (subject to any applicable exemptions). To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing. Returned items must be unused and in original condition.
Return request & instructions: To arrange a return, please contact us by email for return instructions and to ensure your return is correctly identified when it arrives back with us. Returns should be requested within 14 days of receipt and (where agreed) returned within 30 days of receipt.
Return shipping: Return carriage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied. We strongly recommend using a reputable courier with appropriate insurance.
Returns damaged in transit back to us: If an item arrives back to us damaged, we may be unable to issue a refund. We will photograph any damage and provide this to you so you can raise a claim with your courier.
Refund timing: Where a refund is due, we will process it in line with applicable law once goods are received back and inspected.
8 - Warranty
All products include a 12 month replacement warranty unless otherwise stated. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
This warranty does not cover wear and tear, accidental damage, incorrect fitting, modification, preparation, paint, installation, or any labour/paint/material costs incurred after delivery.
9 - Our Website, Content and Liability
All content on this website (including text, images and product data) belongs to Vehicle-Spares.com and must not be copied or reproduced in part or in whole without the owner’s specific written permission.
Although we endeavour to ensure information on this website is correct and up to date, we do not guarantee it is error-free. Please contact us to verify details before making decisions.
Limitation of liability: Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to the foregoing, our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.
We do not accept association with, or links to this website, without specific written consent from ourselves. We reserve the right to withdraw consent if an association is made inappropriately or incoherent with company policies. We are not responsible for information or content provided by third parties linked to this website.
Statutory rights: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and (where applicable) the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
